Nokia 3410
Intro
The Nokia 3410 is a candybar-style GSM phone released by Nokia in Q3 of 2002. Widely regarded as being the pinnacle of the DCT3 hardware platform, it was the first Nokia phone to have a Java ME virtual machine built into its firmware, as well as an OpenGL ES 1.0-like software rendering API, all on a Texas Instruments MAD2WD1 SOC equipped with a 13 MHz ARM7TDMI core. It runs the Series 20 software platform, as with other DCT3 phones.
Other specs include:
- 512 KB of RAM;
- 4 MB of flash storage, 150 KB of which is available to the user;
- A 96x65 1bpp STN display;
- Support for CSD, the precursor to GPRS, allowing it to display basic HTML webpages.

Software
The 3410 has 5 non-Java ME games built into the stock firmware:
- Snake II
- Space Impact
- Bumper
- Bantumi
- Link 5
Other Series 20 games, whether they be official or homebrew, can be stitched into custom firmware.
This phone also came with a preloaded Java ME game, titled Munkiki's Castles, one of the first mobile games to feature 3D graphics. For a long while, it was considered lost media, until version 1.0 of the game was dumped on the 10th of July 2017, citing the Lost Media Wiki article.
Power
The 3410 is compatible with both of the BLC batteries. It comes with a BLC-2 battery out of the box, bearing a capacity of 900 mAh.
The phone receives power through the classic Nokia 3.5mm barrel jack connector, with the ratings of its compatible adapters ranging from 3.7v @ 700 mA to 6.0v @ 620 mA.
